Overview
The Avalon Poetry® is built and equipped with state of the art technology. The first and most striking thing you will notice is the two-storey glass atrium in the central lobby, topped by a glass ceiling, flooding the area with light. The interiors are designed by architect, Hans Sabert, and the Avalon Poetry® boasts some of the largest staterooms of any river cruise ship. All are equipped to hotel room standards and have floor to ceiling glass windows, so you can admire the beautiful passing scenery as you cruise. Avalon Poetry® accommodates 176 passengers and provides spacious public areas, a dining room and a lounge, both with floor to ceiling windows to provide spectacular panoramic views. There is also a fitness room with the latest equipment and a Jacuzzi for up to 6 people, so you can enjoy a relaxing dip while you cruise. The Avalon Poetry® also has an on board hair salon.
