The Avalon Affinity was recently added to the Avalon Waterways fleet and is a modern and well equipped river cruise ship. The Avalon Creativity was added to the Avalon Waterways river cruise holiday fleet in 2009 and, with a maximum of just 140 passengers on board at any time, is an intimate and relaxing river cruise ship on which to sail. Modern and well designed to make best use of light and space, Avalon Creativity is one of the smallest ships in the fleet, but her staterooms are pleasantly spacious.
The Avalon Felicity, new for 2010, is one of the latest additions to the Avalon Waterways river cruise fleet. Her modern and imaginative design creates a feeling of space and light, but, carrying a maximum of only 138 passengers, she also offers an intimate and relaxing way to enjoy our river cruises. The Avalon Imagery® is a modern and imaginatively designed river cruise ship. Unusually, the navigational bridge is located in the stern, behind the passenger section, allowing for a more spacious and free flowing interior design. The unusual positioning of the bridge means that the lounge and restaurant are at the front of the river cruise ship, giving unimpeded views of the landscape as you cruise. In addition, the Sky Deck, stretching out in front of the bridge, is huge, giving plenty of space to soak up the sun, take pictures or simply just relax.
The Avalon Luminary is one of the newest additions to the Avalon Waterways river cruise holidays fleet, joining her sister ships in 2010. She is also one of the smallest ships in the fleet, with a maximum of just 138 passengers when full. This creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere in which to cruise and explore the rivers of Europe. As with all of the river cruise ships in our fleet however, the size of the Avalon Luminary’s staterooms make them among the largest available on any river cruises.
The Avalon Poetry® is built and equipped with state of the art technology. The first and most striking thing you will notice is the two-storey glass atrium in the central lobby, topped by a glass ceiling, flooding the area with light. The interiors are designed by architect, Hans Sabert, and the Avalon Poetry® boasts some of the largest staterooms of any river cruise ship.
The Avalon Scenery is a modern and well equipped river cruise ship, benefitting from a design which creates a feeling of space and light throughout. All of the public areas, including the Club Lounge, the main lobby area, the dining room and the fitness centre provide a level of comfort unrivalled on other river cruise holidays. Avalon Scenery carries just 138 passengers in large, well-appointed staterooms, each with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide outstanding views of the constantly changing panoramas.
Launched in 2006, the Avalon Tapestry® was one of the first river cruise holiday ships to feature an innovative new design, with the navigational bridge at the stern. This design means that the public areas of the ship have a much more spacious and airy feel, with the lounge and restaurant in particular benefitting from a position right at the front of the ship with unimpeded views of the river landscape as you cruise.
