Avalon Waterways is renowned for leading the way in the world of river cruising and we continue to live up to this reputation with the launch of the unique Avalon Angkor. This contemporary new ship is the first in the industry to cruise all the way from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap, and offers passengers an intimate experience with a maximum of 32 guests on board. All 16 deluxe staterooms on the Avalon Angkor are a spacious 172 sq ft and feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors for you to admire the stunning scenery as it unfolds before you.

Mekong River Cruises
From its source high up in the Tibetan Plateau the powerful Mekong River courses for over 3,000 miles through China, Burma, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, providing a lifeline for millions of people. In Vietnam, cruise the massive Mekong Delta, a picturesque area dotted with rice paddies, fish farms, fruit orchards and more. The rice produced in the delta accounts for over half of Vietnam’s rice production. In Cambodia, explore French-influenced Phnom Penh, the spectacular Silver Pagoda, and learn about the sobering Khmer Rouge regime. North of the city, cruise on the Tonle River, which connects the main Mekong with Tonle Sap or 'Great Lake'. This is one of the most picturesque parts of your journey as the river narrows and passes amongst villages and woodlands.
Yangtze River Cruises
Coursing over major distances, the Yangtze is the longest river in Asia and the third longest in the world at more than 3,915 miles. You will cruise approximately 650 miles through the most impressive stretch of the Yangtze River featuring the Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Xiling Gorge, collectively known as the Three Gorges.
