Overview

Avalon Tranquility® was one of the first ships to introduce an innovative new design to river cruise vessels, featuring the navigational bridge in the stern, behind the passenger section, to allow more space and freedom in the layout of the public areas. The atrium and reception are light and spacious, and the creative new design allows for the lounge and restaurant to be positioned at the front of the ship, affording unimpeded views of the landscape as you cruise. In addition, the Sky Deck gives passengers plenty of space to either soak up the sun, enjoy a stroll or just simply relax and socialise with friends. All of the impressively large staterooms are equipped to hotel room standards, many with floor-to-ceiling windows for magnificent views of the riverside landscapes.  Avalon Tranquility® also utilises the award-winning Silent Drive System (SDS), a state-of-the-art design concept that separates the passenger and propulsion compartments to reducce noise and vibration and promote a more restful and enjoyable cruise experience.
