Extremely well organised from the moment we left home until our return.

No disappointments - the ship was extremely comfortable with many thoughtful facilities/services within the stateroom and in the public areas. The itinerary was very well managed by the cruise director with included visits on shore at every port of call plus discretionary extra visits. The crew and the management team all provided a very attentive, friendly but respectful service. All in all it was an experience that we will want to repeat.

Driver was not at airport to meet us on our return and customer services have not even acknowledged my email of complaint.

The cruise it self was well organised and the ship was very comfortable with excellent food and wine.

Only one very very small thing - records on board did not show that I am a Journeys Club member, this matter was soon cleared up and dealt with efficiently and effectively by staff.

I really cant think of any adverse comment to make. The cruise met my expectations given the standards of the previous holiday with Avolon River Cruises.

We were very annoyed because the receptionist messed up our credit card (we were told by a fellow passenger he watched her making no attempt to put it in properly, she kept trying so it was logged out) so I spent many hours trying to sort this, Aso I was woken at midnight by another receptionist saying the ship was about to sail (it wasn't sailing for another 2 hours) and my husband who had gone ashore with fellow passengers, was the only person who had not come back. This was not true as he came back 40 minutes later with many others, including the people in the next cabin, who he told me had come back! I was unwell along with numerous passengers with sore throats and coughs due to air conditioning). I was distraught. I reported this the next morning and was told something would be said. I never received an apology.

My husband had lodged an official complaint. We were told to wait at Costa Coffee at Heathrow for our driver. We waited nearly 2 hours frequently walking up and down looking at all the people displaying their "named" boards. Nothing with Cook. I had terrible trouble getting through to the Emergency Line when I eventually got through the girl said she would ring me back as she would have to get hold of the car company. Nothing! My husband rang her on his phone as I wanted to keep my phone clear, the driver had then rung me, again numerous calls, he said he was at Costa Coffee, we eventually met up, again numerous calls, I hate to think what my bill is going to be, and he has a board with COACH HIRE having told me he was displaying Cook! We had a very silent journey home and I am afraid this put a complete spoiler on the whole holiday as we eventually got home at nearly 9.00 pm having landed at 3.15 pm and I had to get up early to go to work. If I had known the unreliability of your door to door service I would rather have taken a taxi, at least I would have known I wouldn't have to wait for hours.
