We had a wonderful time on the cruise the crew and tour director were brilliant so pleasant and nothing was to much trouble for them. The cruise itself was everything and more than we expected. The stay in Paris was a bonus as we spent our honeymoon there 50 years ago on the 2nd of April 1967. Only two hiccups the first was according to the brochure the on board gratuities were included in the cruise I had to go to ATM to draw some money as we had not aloud for it in our budget. The other was the pick up from the ship the transport didn't turn up and Gerome had to call a taxi but even with the delay we made our flight. But it would not stop us from going on a another cruise with Avalon as I said everything else was perfect.

As previous said in my summary.

The whole holiday was very well organised from pick up at our home throughout the hotel stay and the river cruise to our return home including the arrangements made on the telephone to book it.

Organisation by Katy Huyskens was excellent for the whole holiday from the hotel stay ,the train and bus to the ship, arrangements on board and the final disembarkation and journey to the airport. All staff both at hotel and on board were friendly, helpful and very efficient.
