"Excellent crew and tour guide. Itinerary well planned and facilities on board brilliant...."

"the cruise was excellent the only problem was with the flight BA put my mother and myself..."

"Poor value for money"

25th June 2017 - Trusted Customer

The food on the Boat was very average specially on the second night when the Wiener Schnitzel was like piece of card board. Some of the waiters were rather curt and unfriendly

For the cost of the trip it was not good value

"A perfect holiday."

25th June 2017 - Trusted Customer

This was our first river cruise. We loved it and would happily recommend it to friends. And we'd definitely consider booking another trip for ourselves. Cruising down the Danube was wonderfully relaxing. The facilities of the boat were excellent. The food was terrific and the staff were helpful and friendly. A perfect holiday.

Very good value. Comfortable accommodation that wasn't cramped.

"The shore town trips were OK, but the service, food and noise in the dining..."

25th June 2017 - Mr John Sanderson

The shore town trips were OK, but the service, food and noise in the dining room was a disgrace. People were queuing up and pushing and shoving to get whatever table they wanted. It was worse than a school dining hall.

"Two fine cities and a lovely ship"

26th May 2017 - Mr Michael Cooney

The holiday was well organised - two good hotels, in particular The Intercontinental in Vienna. The food on the Avalon Panorama was excellent. Did not appreciate the long outbound journey caused by having to change aircraft in Munich, and some of the early morning starts. The problem with the ship's steering was unfortunate and meant we lost a days cruising.

Excellent ship with fine food - friendly crew. Two good hotels. Did not like the outbound flight with change of aircraft. Does no -one fly direct from the south of England to Budapest? Not keen on days of a holiday that start at 7.00 a.m.!

"Great"

26th May 2017 - Mrs Carol Long

Very enjoyable crew very helpful good food

Enjoyed trip would have liked more days on the ship

"first ever river cruise so nothing to compare against..."

29th April 2017 - Mr Jeffrey Dunn

first ever river cruise so nothing to compare against

first river cruise wanted a taster

"Smooth booking service"

26th April 2017 - Trusted Customer

Assuming Customer Experience means the booking process (and not the holiday), I had no problems with this.

"An excellent holiday with high standards in all areas."

26th April 2017 - Trusted Customer

Very well organised with high standards in all areas including excursions. We were particularly impressed with the way luggage was transferred between the hotels and boat. The cabins and the hotel rooms were excellent. We had a lovely view from our hotel in Budapest. Meals and service on the boat were impressive. We thought the whole package was put together very well.

A lovely holiday to remember. Three impressive cities and a luxury cruise all in one package. High standards in all areas and very well organised.
